On-Leash Obedience Training for Consistent, Trustworthy Behavior
Every dog deserves to feel comfortable, calm, and confident in the world around them. Our 4- Week On-Leash Training helps your dog build those skills through gentle, positive experiences that make learning feel natural and fun. Perfect for puppies, adolescents, rescue dogs, and adult dogs that need a little extra help building social skills or feeling at ease in new environments. We customize the training to your particular dog’s needs and issues whether at home or out in public, with balanced training and methods that are motivational based, which includes lots of praise, love, and enthusiasm, with gentle corrections, if needed.
Your dog will learn the following commands while on leash:
Sit – Listens and stays seated until released
Stay – Holds position even around distractions
Down – Lies down calmly on command
Come – Returns to you promptly on leash
Heel – Walks politely at your side without pulling
Leave It – Ignores unwanted items or distractions
Off – Stop jumping on people, counter-surfing, etc.
Place – Go to their bed on command
We’ll also tackle behavioral issues your dog may have like chewing, digging, jumping on people, play biting, and incessant barking, and will work with you so you’ll know how to correct your dog and stop bad behavior.
Throughout the program, you’ll receive private lessons at the Ranch with a trainer. You’ll learn:
How to give effective voice commands
Proper timing and reinforcement technique
How to maintain training after your dog returns home
After graduation, we offer unlimited follow up lessons at the Ranch at no additional charge. So, if at any time your dog is pulling or not responding to you, just schedule a lesson with us.
Combining On-Leash and Off-Leash Training
For the most comprehensive training experience, we offer an Eight-Week Combined Program that includes both on-leash and off-leash training. A discounted rate is available if your dog transitions directly from the on-leash program into the off-leash program or within two months of your dog’s on-leash graduation date.

Your dog will stay at our ranch for 28 consecutive days, living with us while receiving professional training every day. This immersive approach creates faster, more reliable results than weekly classes because your dog is learning in a focused environment without the distractions of home.
Each day includes multiple one-on-one training sessions with our professional trainers. We work on obedience commands, behavioral issues, and building your dog’s confidence. Training is balanced with play, rest, and socialization to keep your dog happy and engaged throughout the learning process.
During their stay, your dog will have supervised interactions with other dogs in our play yards. This socialization helps them learn appropriate behavior around other dogs, builds confidence, and provides healthy exercise and mental stimulation.
After your dog’s first two weeks of training, you become an essential part of the process. You and your family will have three private lessons at the Ranch where you’ll learn how to give commands effectively, maintain your dog’s training, and handle situations when your dog isn’t responding. These hands-on lessons ensure you feel confident leading your dog at home and in public.

Whether your dog is a puppy learning the basics, an adolescent testing boundaries, or an adult who never received proper training, this program builds a solid foundation of obedience and good manners.
Rescue dogs often come with unknown histories and may lack basic training or have developed unwanted behaviors. Our 4-week program gives them the structure, consistency, and positive experiences they need to thrive in their forever home.
If your dog pulls on the leash, jumps on guests, barks excessively, chews furniture, digs in the yard, or exhibits play biting, this intensive program addresses these issues comprehensively. Daily professional training creates lasting behavioral changes.
Between work, kids, and daily life, many families struggle to find time for consistent dog training. Our board-and-train program handles the intensive work while you maintain your schedule, then we teach you how to continue the training when your dog comes home.
Tired of being dragged down the street? This program teaches your dog to walk politely on a leash, making walks the enjoyable bonding experience they should be instead of a daily wrestling match.
Some dogs are anxious, fearful, or uncertain in new situations. Our program helps build confidence through positive experiences, clear communication, and gentle guidance. Dogs leave feeling more comfortable and secure in the world around them.
We use balanced training methods that include lots of praise, love, and enthusiasm, with gentle corrections if needed. Our approach is customized to your particular dog’s needs and personality—what motivates one dog might not work for another, so we adapt our methods to create the best learning experience for your individual dog.
Whether your dog’s challenges show up at home or out in public, we address them directly. From household manners to public behavior, we work on the specific issues that matter most to you and your family.
We don’t just train in one setting. Your dog practices commands in different areas of our property, around other dogs and distractions, and in various situations. This ensures the training transfers to real life when your dog returns home.
Our ranch provides a peaceful, spacious environment perfect for learning. Your dog will enjoy fresh air, scenic surroundings, and a calm atmosphere that makes training feel natural rather than stressful.
We limit the number of dogs in our training programs to ensure each receives personalized attention and care. Your dog isn’t just another number—we get to know their personality, what motivates them, and what they need to succeed.
Our commitment doesn’t end at graduation. We include unlimited lifetime one-on-one lessons with you and your dog at the Ranch at no charge. If at any time your dog is pulling or not responding to you, just schedule a lesson with us. We’re here to support you for the life of your dog.
We typically recommend limiting visits during the training period to allow your dog to focus fully on learning. However, we understand every situation is unique. Please discuss your specific needs with us when you schedule your evaluation.
We’re happy to accommodate special diets. Simply bring your dog’s regular food (enough for 4 weeks) and provide clear feeding instructions. We’ll maintain your dog’s routine.
All socialization is carefully supervised by our experienced staff. We monitor play groups closely and can adjust your dog’s socialization based on their temperament and comfort level. Dogs who aren’t comfortable with group play can have individual exercise and enrichment instead.
This is exactly why we include private lessons for you! During your three sessions at the Ranch, we’ll teach you how to give commands, reinforce behaviors, and handle common situations. We’ll also provide detailed written instructions. The key is consistency—practicing daily keeps your dog’s skills sharp and your bond strong.
That’s exactly what our unlimited lifetime follow-up lessons are for! If at any time your dog regresses or you need a refresher, just call us and schedule a lesson at the Ranch. There’s no additional charge—ever. We want you and your dog to succeed long-term.
For most dogs, yes. Four weeks of intensive daily training produces excellent results in obedience and behavioral modification. Some dogs with more severe or complex issues may benefit from our eight-week combined program that includes both on-leash and off-leash training.
Bring your dog’s regular food (enough for 28 days), current vaccination records, any medications with clear instructions, and a favorite toy or blanket if desired. We’ll provide everything else your dog needs during their stay.
We use whatever motivates your individual dog—treats, toys, praise, or play. Our balanced approach includes lots of positive reinforcement. As training progresses, we reduce treat dependency so your dog responds reliably to your commands and praise.
Absolutely! Dogs of any age can learn. While puppies and young dogs may learn quickly, adult and senior dogs are perfectly capable of mastering obedience commands and improving their behavior with the right training approach.
